True Love

Tis almost Valentine's Day, so let me tell you a little story about love. I recently had the opportunity to work with Brandon & LaTarra. This couple has been together for 18 years (married for two.) LaTarra and I set the date for their couple session and the night before their session, she reached out to me saying her husband had tickets to the Big Game. We were unable to move the session to an earlier time, so LaTarra said it may be just her showing up.

To my surprise, on the afternoon of the session, they both showed up, wearing their Georgia Bulldogs sweatshirts. He chose her over the game. He chose creating memories together in the form of photographs rather than attending the game. That is true love. He gave up the big game for his beloved. That speaks volumes.

I am so happy I got a chance to work with this amazingly fun couple! And I look forward to many more sessions with them in the future.

It’s moments like these that I absolutely fall in love with photography all over again.
